“I chose ViSN because the subject I wanted to study wasn’t available at my school due to low interest. I’m so grateful ViSN was an option, because now I get to study a subject I genuinely love, alongside other students who want to be there too,” she added.
“ViSN has made a huge difference in my ATAR journey. With Psychology not being offered at my school, ViSN allowed me to still do the course, with it being my best performing subject. From the camp experience, to the weekly Teams calls, I’ve made many new friends from all over WA. ViSN has given me the opportunity to follow my passion, and to also be part of a supportive community,” added Lauren, also Year 11.
Health Studies Teacher, Lauren Byett said teaching online had reframed her understanding of a classroom:
“It has encouraged me to plan with deeper intention, create space for collaboration and inclusion, and communicate concepts with greater simplicity and clarity.”
