Holy Rosary School’s artists display work during Angelico exhibition

Students at Holy Rosary School in Derby have been creating some wonderful artworks this year as they explore the big question: “How can art tell a story?”

The school are incredibly proud to have entered student artwork into the prestigious Angelico Art Exhibition, an annual Catholic schools exhibition named after Blessed Fra Angelico, the Patron of Artists.

Holy Rosary’s talented artists include Ronaldo, who submitted a beautifully carved Boab tree artwork, showcasing both creativity and skill.

Ronaldo’s work will be joined by stunning creations from Zendaya, Aden, Zeke, Georgia, Jaiden, Zayleigh, and Uno.

These talented students have been learning how to use the printing press, which has resulted in the creation of stunning mono prints.

Principal Melanie Resuggan said:
“We are so proud of our young artists and the imagination, culture, stories, and creativity they bring to every art lesson. We can’t wait to see what they create next!

“We encourage anyone visiting Perth during this time to go along and admire the incredible artwork created by Catholic school students from across Western Australia.”

The Angelico Art Exhibition will be on display from 10 August to 28 August at the Forrest Centre in Perth – 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
