Principal of amalgamated Aranmore Catholic College hits the ground running

The amalgamation of Aranmore Catholic College and Aranmore Catholic Primary School has reached another milestone as the Pre-K to 12 College’s Principal, Lisa Fogliani begins work today.

Lisa is a dedicated and active member of the Catholic faith and served as the Principal of Mercy College in Koondoola from 2021 to the end of last term. Her leadership and commitment to education have been evident throughout her tenure.

Before her Principalship at Mercy College, Lisa was the Vice Principal at Newman College in Churchlands from 2016 to 2020, where she played a significant role in the school’s development and success.

As she begins her role, Lisa will be focusing on bringing the two school communities together and developing shared values from early years right through to graduation.

Catholic Education Western Australia Executive Director, Annette Morey said:

“The appointment of a new Principal is an important step in our planning for this new chapter for Catholic education in Leederville.

“I am confident that Lisa’s experience of leading a K-12 College and deep knowledge of our Catholic education system will be invaluable in building a thriving school community ready to welcome students and families in 2026.”

Mrs Fogliani said:

“I am excited about the opportunities presented by this next chapter as we create our new Pre-K to 12 College. I will be meeting with our interim School Advisory Council and other stakeholders so we can start working towards welcoming students into the new school from Term 1 next year.

“I look forward to hearing from the community to understand what their needs and aspirations are for this new chapter in Catholic education so that we are preparing their children to make a positive impact in an ever-changing world.

“I am also looking forward to working with leadership teams and staff at Aranmore Catholic College and Aranmore Catholic Primary School and the wider school community to ensure a smooth transition to this exciting new chapter for Catholic education in Leederville.”
