Mother Teresa Catholic College in Baldivis was amongst the projects honoured in the WA Architecture Awards announced this month.
The College, designed by Parry and Rosenthal Architects, was honoured in the Educational Architecture Category.
The official opening of stages 4 to 7 of the school’s building development was marked in July 2024 with a blessing event.
Speaking at that opening, CEWA’s Executive Director noted the unique and striking building design was one of the major features of, and source of great pride for, the school.
Principal, Jay Sutton said:
“Mother Teresa Catholic College’s award-winning building has truly transformed the way we teach and learn. Its innovative design fosters collaboration, creativity and calmness, offering students and staff an environment that supports deep thinking, strong community, and a love of learning.”
All awarded and commended projects from WA are now in the running for the Australian Institute of Architects National Architecture Awards, set to be announced later in the year.
