Performed at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, the show was one of the first school productions of its kind in Australia, giving students the unique opportunity to reimagine J.K. Rowling’s world of wizards, spells, and adventure for the stage.
With a cast of over 50 students and a dedicated backstage crew, the production showcased the wide-ranging talents of the College community.
From acting, costume and set design, to lighting, sound, and prop creation, students were able to engage in every aspect of theatre-making.
Highlights included the intricate stage magic and special effects, designed and operated by students alongside professional technicians, which transported audiences directly into the wizarding world. The production also brought together students across year levels, fostering friendships, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
Audiences responded with enthusiasm, praising not only the professionalism of the performance but also the creativity, teamwork, and dedication shown by all involved.
