Liverpool FC International Academy partners with Irene McCormack Catholic College on Elite Coaching and Development Programs.

Irene McCormack Catholic College is proud to announce a new partnership with Liverpool FC International Academy, offering students from Years 7 to 12 the opportunity to participate in a high-performance, co-curricular soccer development program.

This exciting collaboration brings world-class coaching and training methods to the College, supporting the development of students both on and off the field as part of a holistic education approach.

Irene McCormack Principal Andrew Billingsley said:
“Having been a proud member of this vibrant community for over twelve years, I am honoured to now serve as Principal. In my first year in this role, I have been focused on identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow our College.

“One such opportunity too exciting to pass up has been partnering with LFC International Academy. The College will become the hub for several Liverpool FC International Academy community training sessions and holiday programs. Open to every budding player in the neighbouring areas, these programs offer a chance to experience learning to play “The Liverpool Way”.

Andrew added this opportunity will encourage students to build confidence, pursue their aspirations and get them one step closer to achieving their dreams.
“We feel the club’s values aligned strongly with our own. We are excited to give our students and young people from the surrounding areas the chance to access premier coaching programs.

“At Irene McCormack Catholic College, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where students are encouraged and supported to pursue their aspirations with confidence. Our mission is to guide them as they take steps toward achieving their dreams and reaching their full potential.”

Liverpool FC International Academy Australia Director of Football, Kevin Grima said the academy is proud to partner with Irene McCormack Catholic College and looks forward to creating a unique and enriching environment for students, as well as for players and coaches within the wider local community.

“Liverpool Football Clubs’ vision is to be the world leader in developing young people through football. We want our programs to deliver not only strong football outcomes but also contribute to a young person’s journey wherever their pathway leads.

“This is a significant partnership that not only strengthens our soccer program but also offers students an outstanding opportunity to enrol in a school with a truly exceptional sporting pathway.

“Our Academy continues to grow stronger each year – both in the calibre of talent we attract and the number of students eager to be part of what we’re building. Partnering with Liverpool FC International Academy is a milestone that will elevate the experience we provide even further.

“Having coached in Europe for many years, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact soccer can have on individuals and communities. Here in our own backyard, that same passion is alive — especially for the Premier League and the game.”

“This partnership brings our community even closer together and opens the door to exciting new opportunities for local kids to thrive in the sport they love. We’re incredibly excited for what lies ahead and proud to be part of this journey.” said Irene McCormack Catholic College Soccer Academy Coach Adam Firych.
