Holy Name Early Learning and Care Centre upgrade and open day

Holy Name Early Learning and Care Centre in Carlisle are excited to see the results of an upgrade to their outdoor play spaces, made possible through a Bunnings community development grant.

Bunnings staff were recently on site at the Centre to carry out much anticipated works on the Kindergarten and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) playground areas, with resources donated by six of their stores.

Manager Lisa Bevan said “Families and children have provided positive feedback on the experience and are excited to interact with the spaces as part of their daily programme.”

Families, parents and carers from the community are invited to the Centre’s open day from 10am – 12pm on 10 June, to meet staff and see the results of the upgrade.

Holy Name Early Learning and Care Centre has a strong focus on play-based learning, and provides long day care, before and after school care and vacation care services for families with children aged birth to 12 years.

Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) Executive Director, Dr Tim McDonald, said that the Centre benefited from strong community support.

“Providing excellent early years learning and care options that truly meet the needs of families today is a priority for Catholic Education. Holy Name is a great facility, with staff who are passionate about working with families to deliver a supportive, nurturing and fun learning and care environment.”
