Experiential Prayer Room – a unique space at ACYF

A truly unique part of the 2019 Australian Catholic Youth Festival was the Experiential Prayer Room set up as part of the Worship Centre.
Kelly Paget, the festival Encounter Manager, said that the space had been designed to give festival goers an opportunity to pray they way they felt comfortable.
The room was set up with a range of installations and prayer and reflection stations, including student artworks, icons, and a labyrinth.
The space was open for pilgrims to use freely, as well as hostingr small facilitated prayer sessions and workshops.
