Catholic Education WA (CEWA) is proud to be recognised as an Apple Professional Learning Provider.
Apple Professional Learning Providers (APL Providers) are organisations with a team of Apple Professional Learning Specialists who scale innovative professional learning programs for educators, leaders and IT. They offer unique, world-class programs and are authorised to deliver a range of unique professional learning experiences in collaboration with Apple.
CEWA’s selection as an APL Provider is recognition of the outstanding in-house capability at CEWA and an endorsement of our commitment to providing high-quality professional learning to our schools, as well as to national and international audiences.
There are currently five Apple Professional Learning Specialists employed across CEWA with four based at the Catholic Education Office in Leederville and another based at Holy Cross College, Ellenbrook. There are also seven Apple Distinguished Schools within the Catholic Education system.
Apple Professional Learning Specialists support educators from developing basic skills to fostering teaching innovation. They work side by side with educators through coaching cycles and build capacity through local support teams.
Catholic Education WA Executive Director, Annette Morey said:
“It is important that we continue to meet the needs of students and their families in an ever-changing world, so our schools remain the school system of choice for families.
“Investing in the latest digital technology and broadening the knowledge of our staff is crucial to ensuring our schools deliver a flexible, modern model of education.
“Being selected as an APL Provider is recognition of the commitment our staff and leadership have shown to ongoing professional development.”
