Webinar Week: Virtually amazing technology empowers CEWA staff

10 May 2019

From mythbusting legal services to digital how-tos, next week Catholic Education Western Australia staff have the opportunity to participate in virtual learning sessions across a variety of topics.

Organised by CEWA’s Digital Transformation team, Webinar Week runs from 13-16 May with sessions every afternoon from 3:30pm – 4:15pm for teachers, leaders, admin and technical staff.

Digital Transformation Consultant Maggie Tiongson said this will be the third time Webinar Week has been run and she is excited to see staff from across WA take part.

“We had a great response last term so this time we’re offering seven fantastic streams and we hope to see even more staff join us,” she said.

“It’s really just this great opportunity to bring staff together no matter where they are located to be able to learn from each other.”

Presented by CEWA staff from a range of disciplines, the topics covered next week are: Child Safe Framework; digital how tos; inclusive practices; improving productivity; quality practices; Strategic Directions; and teaching and learning.

To join in, simply join the 8445 Virtual Conference Team where you can view the schedule and view the webinar streams.

Staff are encouraged to participate live, but if they cannot attend all of the videos can be accessed via Microsoft Stream.

“Staff can now receive personalised professional learning at a time and place that best suits them,” Ms Tiongson said.
