Senior schools students from Ursula Frayne Catholic College found a creative way to raise funds for Project Compassion this year by holding their very own ‘Noodle Palace” pop-up restaurant.

Decorations adorned the hallway leading to the ‘palace’ outside the College’s industry grade kitchen where students helped to prepare and sell noodles, drinks and sweet during their lunch break on Thursday 15 March.

The Noodle Palace idea was chosen to raise funds because it was a popular choice among students with many expressing their love for noodles, especially the extra spicy flavours.

Ms Jo Searson, Coordinator of Home Economics, said the best thing about this initiative was “having such an enthusiastic crowd of supporters from across the campus”.

A total of $709.20 was raised for Project Compassion.
