Sharing in the spirit of Easter, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School student leaders visited St John of God and Bunbury Regional Hospital to deliver Easter eggs and gifts to the children, elderly and patients.

On Thursday the 6th of April, Head Girl Ella Frisina, Head Boy Fraser Lanigan and Student President, Ebonee Griffin, were joined by supervisor Jane Olsen to spend time expressing their Catholic faith through giving and spending time with those who are in need of comfort and love during this festive season.

St Joseph’s encourages students to express their faith in the wider community in the hope that “we live like Jesus, we love those in need and we learn to care for all” said Principal Natalia Thomson.

The experience was enriching not only for the students, but also the wonderful people they met during their visits.

“At Bunbury Regional Hospital we met two men and one happens to be a brother in law of one of the teachers at our school, his name was Jim. We took a couple photos with him and his friend. I am so happy and lucky that I get to do this as a leader” said Ella Frisina.

The students were also lucky enough to meet Raymond at St John of God who gifted them a book about the hospital to put in their school library.
