PROPAGATE: ICEA’s Big Idea Competition

The Indigenous Communities Education and Awareness (ICEA) Foundation is running a competition for students to share their ideas about putting this year’s Reconciliation Week theme into action “Let’s take the next steps”.

PROPAGATE is open to all school students and submissions can be solo or group-based in the form a speech, essay, video, poem, visual art, dance… whichever suits the idea best!

There are awesome prizes up for grabs for each year group:

  • Year 4-6: Noongar language classes for the winning submission and their class plus ICEA merchandise and more.
  • Year 7-9:  A piece of Kamsani Bin Salleh artwork, Noongar language classes for the winning submission and their class plus ICEA merchandise and more.
  • Year 10-12: A piece of Kamsani Bin Salleh artwork, tickets for the winning submission and a friend to Noel Nannup’s Fireside Sharing plus ICEA merchandise and more.

Entries close on 12 August and winners will be announced at the ICEA Classic 2017 on 10 September.
